When working with Appsecure, you will be working alongside some of the most
talented consultants in the industry. All of which are technically driven, have
a passion for their job and are constantly researching and learning new
techniques for testing and research. We encourage our team to actively get
involved in industry initiatives within both business and personal time,
including OWASP and developer groups i.e (java/.NET).
Our career path program is aligned to the skill level and capability of a
consultant and not age or length of time with the company. We have the following
career path options available and we also have the opportunity for consultants
to buy shares in the company that they work for.
- Managing Partner
Our Managing Partner's are owners in the company. They have an invested interest
in making sure that our client deliverables and testing approach is cutting edge
and leading the market. Partner's are expected to have extensive experience
within the industry, both a business and technical background and provide
thought leadership within the organisation and externally. Managing Partner's
typically own a division within Appsecure and runs each individual unit, as if
it was a small business. The role provides a dedicated focus to the team,
clients and research tasks undertaken within Appsecure. You'll be managing your
own team, resources and small business in this role.
- Principal Consultant
Our Principal Consultants have extensive experience within the Industry and are
seen as thought leaders. You will be responsible for managing directly with
client relationships, as well as managing your own team within Appsecure of
consultants. Our Principal Consultants are assigned as mentor's to our Senior
and Graduate consultants. You'll also be responsible for contributing to the
research and testing programs and encouraged to actively get involved with
industry programs such as OWASP.
- Senior Consultant
Our Senior Consultants are seen as industry experts and have experience with
providing security consulting services directly to our clients. You will be
working indepently and will also mentor our Graduate consultants on team
projects. Senior Consultants have the responsiblity of ensuring technical
excellence on projects to the Principal consultant. You'll also be responsible
for contributing to the research and testing programs and encouraged to actively
get involved with industry programs such as OWASP.
- Graduate Consultant
Our graduate program is designed to take developers and/or young consultants and
work with them to increase their skills to the level of becoming a Senior
Consultant. You will be assigned team mentors within Appsecure that provide
on-the-job skills transfer and experience. Appsecure will also help with
achieving certifications you wish to achieve within the industry. You'll always
be working alongside one of our Senior or Principal consultants and are
encouraged to write research and undertake industry programs such as OWASP.
